Yin, the original hatha yoga, is meant to open the inner stabilizers to free the organs, muscles and skeletal system to align and heal. Long-held postures done on the floor with focussed breathing opens tendons, ligaments and cartilage. This two hour workshop uses blocks, blankets and straps to instill an ahhhh factor that can only be understood as Yoga--unified, whole and reintegration of the being and body. This is a great session for people who suffer from both physical and emotional trauma.
